Saturday Video Round Up: August 9 – 15

With GamesCom now at an end and the giant trailer explosion a thing of last week, the industry has settled a bit. Unfortunately for us here at the Round Up, that means significantly less videos to give to you, dear reader. Still, lets make the best of it shall we? Here are the best videos from the past week, which are conveniently tucked away after the break below. For now, here’s just a brief taste.

The big trailer for me this week comes from Nintendo. With Super Mario Maker on the horizon, Nintendo has dropped a mega-sized 7 minute trailer showing off more of the game and all the new features that you didn’t already know about before hand. Seriously, there’s a lot of stuff this one is bringing to the table and I cannot wait.

The surprise hit of 2015 currently rests in the hands of Dying Light and developer Techland is bringing a whole new chapter to fans with The Following. Featuring a new and expansive area for player to kill zombies in, the biggest surprise may be the inclusion of a dune buggy than can also be upgraded. Come get a first look below.

I’ve also got new videos for Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Rainbow Six Siege, Mega Man Legacy Collection and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

The full list of videos await you after the jump…

Saturday Video Round Up: Super Gamescom 2015 Edition

The following post was submitted by Gamer Crash. See more trailers and news at GamerCrash.com!

This week was all about Gamescom and as the dedicated Saturday Video Round Up fan that you are, I’m sure you know what that means. More Videos! It’s because of that fact that I really don’t know where to start. If there’s a game you’re excited for later this year or even into next, I more than likely have a trailer for it. This week is jam packed with video content, so lets dive in! Here’s a small taste.

After a slight hiatus and disappearance at E3 this year, Quantum Break came back in a big way, revealing the star studded talent in the game and also a nice graphical upgrade. If you want to see how this time bending action game is shaping up, there’s a brand new trailer for your viewing pleasure below.

Even though I couldn’t get into the first game, I still find the Mirror’s Edge series beautiful. With the next entry in the series, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, set to hit stores next year, the same remains true. Catalyst looks gorgeous and very fluid as the main character Faith weaves in and out using parkour moves to escape some pretty dangerous situations. The GamesCom demo awaits you below the jump.

I’ve also got new videos for Street Fighter V, Heroes of the Storm, Halo 5: Guardians and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

Saturday Video Round Up: July 12 – 18

The following post was submitted by Gamer Crash. See more trailers and news at GamerCrash.com!

Alright, lets get real for a moment here. We’re deep in the heart of July which basically translates to the driest and most bare bones time for games in the entire year. Unfortunately, that also means the Round Up isn’t as stocked as it usually is. But hold on! Before you close this tab or browse to a new site, I do have a good selection of videos for you this week so make sure to get comfortable, crank the volume and enjoy. Here’s a small taste of what’s waiting for you below the jump.

This week Avalanche Studios released the full 7 minute demo for Just Cause 3 from E3 last month and boy does the game look incredibly fun. If surfing on jets, blowing stuff up, using a wingsuit to speed across a gorgeous Mediterranean landscape, or using a grappling hook to destroy things sounds like your idea of fun, make sure to watch the video below.

For those who may have missed one of PlayStation 3’s most visually impressive games, well, you now have another chance to experience true anger as God of War III Remastered is now out for the PlayStation 4. And yes, somehow the tech wizards at Sony Santa Monica have managed to squeeze more visual quality out of the game. The launch trailer is below.

I’ve also got new videos for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Rock Band 4, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 gameplay and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

The full list of videos await you after the jump…

Saturday Video Round Up: July 5 – 11

The following post was submitted by Gamer Crash. See more trailers and news at GamerCrash.com!

After a short hiatus, the Video Round Up is back once again containing all of the best video content from the past week, even if we’re dead smack dab in the middle of the slowest release period of the year. Thankfully, Comic Con helped save this week a bit so lets get to the new stuff, shall we? Here’s a small taste.

With Comic Con is raging over in San Diego, meshing TV, movies, comics, and games together under one roof, Capcom took the opportunity to bring their highly anticipated fighter, Street Fighter V to the show floor. Better yet? A new character has also been revealed, to which I’ll let the trailer below fill you in on who it is.

Fans of Treyarch’s zombies mode will be thrilled to learn it’s coming back in this year’s Call of Duty entry: Black Ops III. This time around, the mode takes place in a Mafia inspired 1940’s setting and brings Ron Perlman, Heather Graham, Neal McDonough, and the one and only Jeff Goldblum on as the four main characters. Time to queue up Goldblum’s classic Jurassic Park memes.

I’ve also got new videos for Tom Clancy’s The Division, Batman Arkham Knight DLC, Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

Saturday Video Round Up: April 26 – May 2

It’s a brand new Video Round Up! Brace yourself for a whole week’s worth of video content from the latest trailers to the biggest gameplay footage. Sit back and relax as we dive into the biggest videos from the week that was. Here’s a taste.

After giving us a taste of their Mad Max game last week, Avalanche opened the gates with the gameplay reveal trailer for the explosive action game, Just Cause 3. Speaking of explosions, I don’t think Michael Bay’s wildest dreams could simulate the amount of explosions going on in the short minute and a half clip.

Monday didn’t stop with the high action of Just Cause 3, as we also got another look at the work Rocksteady is putting into Batman: Arkham Knight. While touching a bit on the story element, the big news came when the trailer revealed that Catwoman, Azrael, Nightwing, and Robin would all have bigger roles this time around. Catwoman, Nightwing, and Robin can also be swapped to during gameplay with a system they’re calling dual-play. Certainly makes fights even more exciting!

I’ve also got new videos for Destiny – House of Wolves, Killer Instinct, Call of Duty: Black Ops III and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

The full list of videos await you after the jump…

It’s a brand new Video Round Up! Brace yourself for a whole week’s worth of video content from the latest trailers to the biggest gameplay footage. Sit back and relax as we dive into the biggest videos from the week that was. Here’s a taste.

After going completely silent since it’s original announcement, Avalanche Studios has finally released a compelling trailer showing off the many gameplay features of their upcoming Mad Max game. From the looks of the footage, it’s going to be a beautifully huge game that stays true to the spirit of the franchise.

Get ready for more Call of Duty as Activision and Treyarch released a 3 minute teaser trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. It has a heavy Deus Ex feel to it, complete with augmentation, controversy of wearable tech, and eventual conflict. Hey, the trailer got the attention of Eidos Montreal.

I’ve also got new videos for Splatoon, Project CARS, Rainbow Six Siege and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!
