YouTube Highlights: January 2017

It’s been 2017 for a few weeks now, and it seems that things are off to a great start in the gaming world. With news of the Nintendo Switch hitting everyone like a giant, colorful meteor ridden by Link and Mario, this year is already in the record books. Undoubtedly, we certainly plan to make it a good year and will keep going here with gaming news, writings, and videos. Yes, videos! Our YouTube channel continues to shine thanks to all of you, you wonderful watchers and commenters! And with that, it’s time for our monthly tour of the videos that lit up our channel in January!

Welcome back, one and all, to our final YouTube Highlights post of 2016! While we started up our YouTube channel in the summer of 2015, 2016 marks our first full year of making and providing game videos, so that’s kind of cool, no?  We certainly hope that the trend continues into 2017, because we’ve had an utterly grand time with the channel. YouTube Highlights: November 2016

Happy Thanksgiving! (Or, happy Thursday if Thanksgiving isn’t your thing.) Though it’s a holiday for us, we’re not taking a break from posting our monthly highlights from YouTube. If anything, we’re more than thankful for our subscribers and supporters there, and here…and everywhere. Thanks to you, you..and YOU! To everyone who’s motivated us to keep writing and playing. We hope that what we offer lends a little joy. 🙂 Speaking of which, November was a rousing good month for us video-wise, so let’s get on with the highlights!


First and foremost, we are incredibly pleased to have introduced this month, care of The Duck of Indeed, two brand new Let’s Plays: Ratchet & Clank (PS4) and The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask! We hope  you’ll follow along as The Duck takes on these exciting titles.

YouTube Highlights: October 2016

We interrupt our regularly scheduled Zelda-ween celebration to bring you some gaming videos! Even though we’ve got a good thing going, we must review our month in YouTube, because it’s been a great one; one that was filled with excellent gaming moments of all sorts. So let’s get to the rundown!


We’re going to start this week with that puffy, fluffy, vacuum cleaner of renown..it’s Kirby! The Duck of Indeed’s playthrough of Kirby’s Return to Dreamland really “chilled out”  in October as the gang ventured into the snowy stages of World 4.

YouTube Highlights: August 2016

Hard to believe that another month has nearly reached its end,  but here we are, drawing the summer months to a close with another YouTube Highlights video! Yes, it’s that time of the month were we take a look back and share what we’ve accomplished in terms of gaming videos. So, without further ado, let’s start the gallery!

The Duck of Indeed kicked off August with a number of continuing Let’s Plays, one of which also came to an end: Donkey Kong Country 2. Yes, The Duck completed all the Lost World levels in the game and once again brought peace to the land of DKC.

YouTube Highlights: July 2016

The end of July is nearly upon us…and that means it’s time for another look back on our YouTube happenings from the month! We’ve been fantastically busy keeping up with Let’s Plays and playthroughs and general gaming fun, and here’s a round-up of just a few of our highlights.

At the start of July, The Duck of Indeed kicked things off with another entry in her playthrough of Kirby’s Return to Dream Land for the Wii. Here Kirby’s on a quest to help restore the Lor Starcutter, the broken-down ship of Magalor, which he needs to get home. Will Kirby’s super inhaling-powers enable him and his friends to help Magalor?
