Saturday Video Round Up: January 22 – 28

Saturday has once again reared its head and that means a brand new edition of the Round Up is here as well. Studios appear to be back into the swing of things after a holiday break and there are a lot of trailers and videos to get to. Here’s a small taste of what’s waiting below the break.

For me, one of the most exciting reveals this past week came from BioWare as they unleashed the second cinematic trailer for Mass Effect Andromeda. In it, we get a good look at what appears to be the primary antagonist for the Pathfinder crew. Not to be out done, a second trailer was also released focusing on the ark ship Hyperion. What’s great here is that the trailer reveals more of the trusty crew the Ryder twins will come across through their adventure.

The marketing blitz for Ghost Recon Wildlands has clearly begun as Ubisoft pushed out three brand new trailers for the game. The first focuses on the level of customization and freedom players have in the world, while the second actually shows off just how open the game really is. If you’re fired up and can’t wait for the game, the third trailer shows off a bonus mission for putting down some cash on the game early.

I’ve also got new videos for Rainbow Six Siege, Overwatch, Resident Evil VII biohazard and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

Saturday Video Round Up: Nov 13 – 19

Well folks, this week marks a very special edition of the Video Round Up. Like I do every year, the Round Up is going on a little vacation, set to return early in 2017. We’re finally past all of the major releases this year and with the holidays coming up quickly, the video activity will be slowing to a crawl. I may make a special one next month for the Game Awards and PlayStation event so stay tuned. For now, I’ll have more on this next week along with what’s going to be replacing it in December.

Before we get too far ahead of ourselves though, it’s time to enjoy another edition of the Saturday Video Round Up. As I mentioned, even with new releases are slowing to a crawl, there’s still some interesting stuff to share. Here’s a small taste of what waits for you below.

Rainbow Six Siege, a game that launched almost a year ago, is still going strong and so to is the post-launch support. The final expansion of season one, Operation Red Crow, introduces a new map and two new operators based on the special forces of Japan. It’ll be interesting to see where Ubisoft takes this game with a second season of content now coming in 2017.

It’s still a bit strange to say, but The Last Guardian is now only a couple of weeks away. I’ll give you a moment to let that sink in.

To help get fans even more excited, Sony has released a brand new CG cinematic trailer featuring some action sequences between Trico and the little boy.

I’ve also got new videos for Dishonored 2, Persona 5, Pokemon Sun/Moon and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

Saturday Video Round Up: Oct 30 – Nov 5

With Saturday here once again, it’s time for the latest installment of the Video Round Up. For those of you who are new, this is my weekly feature where I grab all the latest videos and trailers from the previous week, lovingly placing them in one, easy to find list. So lets jump into this weeks batch of videos, shall we?

This week it was Blizzard’s show as the annual BlizzCon event kicked off in California. As usual, Blizzard had a heap of news to unload for all of their major franchises from Overwatch, to Heroes of the Storm, to Diablo. If you enjoy Blizzard games, there’s more than likely a trailer for you below so enjoy!

With imminent launches, it was another big week for a pair of sequels like Watch_Dogs 2 and Dishonored 2. Dishonored is back presenting more story elements for interested people while Watch_Dogs is taking a more gameplay oriented approach showing just how ‘living’ the open world really is.

I’ve also got new videos for Gears of War 4, Persona 5, Heroes of the Storm and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

Saturday Video Round Up: September 4 – 10

The weekend has once again returned and so to has a brand new edition of the Saturday Video Round up. As usual, I’m bringing you the best trailers and gameplay videos from the past week, so kick your feet up, crank the volume, and enjoy. Lets get started, shall we?

Ubisoft released a trio of videos this week for their upcoming melee inspired game, For Honor. Fans can get a look at the Vanguard classes for the Viking, Samurai, and Knight factions. While all three may be in the same class, they certainly don’t play the same way.

While it may have skipped out at Gamescom and E3 this year, EA finally gave fans the first gameplay of Mass Effect Andromeda this past week at non-other than Sony’s PlayStation Pro reveal event. There was almost no set up, so we don’t quite know who many of these people are, where they are, or what they’re doing but man is it good to see Mass Effect back once again.

I’ve also got new videos for Titanfall 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, Prey and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

Rainbow Six Siege keeps on rolling as the third meaty expansion called Operation Skull Rain launched this week. The pack gives the game a Brazilian flair with the highly destructible Favela map and two new operators from the BOPE Special Unit.

The annual QuakeCon is also in full swing and Bethesda released a trio of videos for some of their upcoming games. Get a first look at some actual gameplay for Prey, Quake Champions, and check out the first premium DLC pack for DOOM.

I’ve also got new videos for Overwatch, Battlefield 1, Pokemon Sun/Moon and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!
