Saturday Video Round Up: March 19 – 25

Saturday is finally here and that means it’s time for a brand new Round Up, bringing you the best gameplay and trailers from around the industry. So kick up your feet and crank the volume, here’s a small taste of what waits for you below the jump.

It was a big week for the folks at NetherRealm Studios as they released a bunch of new trailers for their superhero brawler, Injustice 2. First, come get a glimpse at Wonder Woman’s nemesis, Cheetah, then stay for Supergirl’s side of the story. Who knows, perhaps you’ll also get a glimpse of an evil lightning throwing bad guy as well.

Titanfall 2 is still chugging right along and their next major (and free!) downloadable content expansion is less than a week away. The fan favorite map Colony rejoins the series along with a ton of new content and Prime Titans as well.

I’ve also got new videos for Prey, Overwatch, Destiny and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

The full list of videos await you after the jump…

Saturday Video Round Up: February 26 – March 4

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the weekend and an all new edition of the Saturday Video Round Up. As usual, I’ve gather up the best video game trailers and gameplay from around the industry this past week and put them all in a handy dandy post for your viewing pleasure. Let’s get to it, shall we?

After a leak last week, WB and Monolith officially confirmed that Middle-earth: Shadow of War is indeed real. Picking up where the first game left off, players jump back into the armor of fallen ranger Talion and his spirit elf Celebrimbor as they create a new ring of power and prepare to go toe to toe with Sauron. With a newly updated and expanded Nemesis System, I am ready to return to the land of Mordor.

With the Nintendo Switch now out in the wild, there’s also a handful of launch videos for the new console watching for your views as well.

I’ve also got new videos for Nier: Automata, Injustice 2, Mass Effect Andromeda and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

The full list of videos await you after the jump…

New ‘Avatar’ Game in the Works

Eight years after the release of the massively popular film, the world of ‘Avatar’ will be getting the video game treatment once again. What’s more? The studio tackling the project will be none other than Ubisoft’s Massive Entertainment, the minds behind 2016’s Tom Clancy’s: The Division.

Saturday Video Round Up: October 23 – 29

With Saturday here once again, it’s time for the latest installment of the Video Round Up. For those of you who are new, this is my weekly feature where I grab all the latest videos and trailers from the previous week, lovingly placing them in one, easy to find list. So lets jump into this weeks batch of videos, shall we?

Titanfall 2 is the big name this week (along with Skyrim Remastered for those of you looking to double dip) and as such, another impressive trailer has dropped down for your viewing pleasure. The launch trailer gives another great look at the bond between pilot and titan, including some impressive acrobatics and effects.

In what seems to be a weekly occurrence, Dishonored 2 makes the list once again with a couple of new trailers. The first is a snazzy live action trailer, showing things from Emily’s point of view as she works to get revenge on the witch, Delilah Copperspoon. Need more information on Emily? There’s a trailer for you as well, with some of the developers at Arkane talking about the Empress.

I’ve also got new videos for The Division, Dead Rising 4, Watch_Dogs 2 and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

The full list of videos await you after the jump…

Saturday Video Round Up: May 15 – 21

The following post was submitted by Derek from Gamer Crash. See more trailers and news at GamerCrash.com!

As we inch closer and closer to E3 next month, expect the video pool to dry up as publishers save their biggest and brightest trailers for when all eyes are on the annual show. Still, there’s plenty of stuff to check out this week in the Round Up. Here’s just a small taste of what awaits you.

Did you know that The Witcher 3 is finally getting it’s last major expansion at the end of the month? You should with how many Blood & Wine videos they’ve released in the past couple of weeks. Not that I’m complaining or anything, the new content looks fantastic and a nice change of pace from the main game. If you want to know more about the land of Toussaint, there’s a video waiting for you below.

The cinematics team at Blizzard have done it again, releasing another incredible looking short called Dragons. Focusing on the brotherly feud between Genji and Hanzo, you’ll get a better understanding of where each character is coming from as well as see some crazy good CG animation. Seriously, it’s like Pixar level good.

I’ve also got new videos for Fallout 4 DLC, Tom Clancy’s The Division, Gran Turismo Sport and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

The full list of videos await you after the jump…

YouTube Highlights: April 2016

Greetings, fellow gamers and content creators! We’re happy to introduce here a new monthly feature on the site called “YouTube Highlights,” which is, well…all about highlights from our YouTube channel! For many months now, myself, The Duck of Indeed, and Hatm0nster have been hard at work making all sorts of gaming videos. As such, it’s easy for videos to get lost in the shuffle that is YouTube. To help folks navigate their way through our channel’s waters, I’m going to be featuring a handful of our videos in a post like this very one you’re reading at the end of each month. That way, if you don’t have time to cull through ALL our videos (we know, it’s a lot, and there’s plenty more to come!), you’ll at least get to sample some of our wondrously delicious gaming fare.

So, without further ado, let’s get to our April highlights!

First up, let’s talk about The Division! The hype surrounding this game’s release last month was overwhelming , and it continues to be a juggernaut. Part of the game’s appeal is it story, upon which Hatm0nster capitalized in the video “Division Lore: The National Guard,” the first of a series.

Next, April saw the continuation of a couple of our Let’s Play series by the Duck of Indeed of Super Paper Mario and Donkey Kong Country 2. Both of these fantastic games remain fun and challenging, no matter if you only ever played them once or a hundred times!

Here you can catch the Duck, er…the Kongs swinging through Barrel Bayou:

And in Super Paper Mario, what’s up with Princess Peach in this creepy, oddball land?

If classic gaming is your thing, then our Nostalgic Notions series is for you! This month I returned with games from the Activision Anthology, and The Duck ventured onward with games from Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection.

As far as Atari games went, could they have been any stranger than Kabobber?

Yes, they could have, and they did, especially with Decap Attack, which The Duck played. It features a mummy with the ability to shoot…his face. Yep, that’s strange, all right.

Finally, this past month The Duck returned to the terrifying realm of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza with Five Night’s at Freddy’s 2! It’s a must watch! If you dare watch, that is.

Saturday Video Round Up: April 10 – 16

The following post was submitted by Derek from Gamer Crash. See more trailers and news at GamerCrash.com!

The week is at another end and that means it’s time for another edition of the Saturday Video Round Up, bringing you the best trailers and video content from the past week. There’s a lot of great stuff if you ask me, so here’s a small preview of what’s waiting for your viewing pleasure below.

With a beta set to kick off in a few days, the marketing train for Gears of War 4 has effectively started it’s journey. The first salvo came earlier this week as a new CG trailer called ‘Tomorrow’ released and drew immediate comparisons to the old Mad World trailer for the first game.

The gaming community was effectively blindsided this week as a teaser trailer for Titanfall 2 hit the web. It certainly raises way more questions than it answers, but we do get a good shot of a drop pod belonging to James McAllen, a voice over by IMC mercenary Sergeant Blisk, and what appears to be a sword wielding Titan. One thing is for sure, our questions will be answered on June 12.

I’ve also got new videos for DOOM, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, The Division and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

The full list of videos await you after the jump…
