Saturday is finally here and that means it’s time for a brand new Round Up, bringing you the best gameplay and trailers from around the industry. So kick up your feet and crank the volume, here’s a small taste of what waits for you below the jump.

It was a big week for the folks at NetherRealm Studios as they released a bunch of new trailers for their superhero brawler, Injustice 2. First, come get a glimpse at Wonder Woman’s nemesis, Cheetah, then stay for Supergirl’s side of the story. Who knows, perhaps you’ll also get a glimpse of an evil lightning throwing bad guy as well.

Titanfall 2 is still chugging right along and their next major (and free!) downloadable content expansion is less than a week away. The fan favorite map Colony rejoins the series along with a ton of new content and Prime Titans as well.

Narcosis Seems to be Anything But Sleepy

March 2017 has been a important month for games thus far. It’s been high-profile release after high-profile release so far, and with the nextDark Souls III dlc and final Destiny live event set to drop next week, it doesn’t look like things will be slowing down anytime soon. With all these major releases dropping one after another it can be easy to forget that there’s plenty going on in the independent scene as well, but there are some games that manage to break through nonetheless. Narcosis is one of them.

Saturday Video Round Up: March 12 – 18

We’re deep into March now and it shows as there’s quite a few videos to get to. Welcome to another weekly edition of the Saturday Video Round Up, where the best trailers and gameplay. Here’s just a small taste of what’s waiting for you below the jump.

Nintendo came out of the gate hard with the Switch thanks large in part to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. While the game ditches many longstanding traditions, it seems the fanbase is in love with this newest entry. Curious to know how Nintendo decided to make all these gameplay updates? A new three part behind the scenes series arrived this week, so make sure to check them out for answers to many of your burning questions.

Next weeks see the return of the Mass Effect franchise as the next entry in the series is taking players to the Andromeda galaxy. Fans have already gotten a good look at the single player side, and now it’s time to get an overview of the cooperative multiplayer mode. If you’re familiar with Mass Effect 3 multiplayer, I think you’ll find plenty to love with Andromeda.

I’ve also got new videos for Prey, Injustice 2, Quake Champions and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

Saturday Video Round Up: March 5 – 11

Even though I’m in Boston for the annual Penny Arcade Expo aka PAX East this weekend, I’m not going to leave you guys hanging without something to do. I mean, it is Saturday after all. So as usual, here are the best and brightest videos from the past week.

The headliner this week, for me anyway, is the 16 minute gameplay walkthrough for Middle-earth: Shadow of War. I was an big fan of the first game and it looks like the team has cranked up the epicness to 100 this time around. I’m looking forward to seeing more of the game at E3 this year.

It’s crazy to think, but we’re now a little over a week away from the next Mass Effect game, and I couldn’t be more excited. If you need another bump to the hype meter, the launch trailer has finally arrived and it features all the space shootin’ goodness that you’d expect to see.

I’ve also got new videos for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Injustice 2, Quake Champions and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

Picking up where the first game left off, players jump back into the armor of fallen ranger Talion and his spirit elf Celebrimbor as they create a new ring of power and prepare to go toe to toe with Sauron. With a newly updated and expanded Nemesis System, I am ready to return to the land of Mordor.

With the Nintendo Switch now out in the wild, there’s also a handful of launch videos for the new console watching for your views as well.

I’ve also got new videos for Nier: Automata, Injustice 2, Mass Effect Andromeda and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

Three Unique and Upcoming Switch Titles

With the release of Nintendo’s Switch now less than a month away, I’ve been spending an increasing amount of time looking up what kind of games we’ll have to look forward to.  As I’ve mentioned before, I don’t plan on buying the Switch at launch, but a Duck can still dream, right?  And for all of those out there who will be proud Switch-owners in the near future, here’s a little assistance in the form of three intriguing, but lesser-known, Switch releases.  That means no Zelda, Mario, or Yooka-Laylee!
