Listmas: Games I Need to Play Next Year

I’ve already listed all the game I played this crazy year of 2014, and now it’s time for all the games I need to play in 2015 AKA my gaming backlog! Not including games not yet purchased…

  1. I need to finish New Super Mario Bros U, and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze from the previous list, of course
  2. The Last Story, a Wii game I’ve heard nothing but good things about, and which can put my Wii U’s Wii-playing abilities to the test
  3. Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty, PS3, which I accidentally got the UK version of and should be fun despite being short and being rated for “fear”
  4. Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus, PS3, you had me at Intergalactic Museum of History, plus I couldn’t pass up a game selling for only $10 new
  5. Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Final Mix, PS3…nothing more needs to be said
  6. Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns, PS3, only because I played through the first two, not because I’m actually excited
  7. Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, PS3, an unfortunate victim of a box cutter at Wal Mart, but which looks interesting, despite not knowing what the title means…
  8. Final Fantasy IV and V, PS1, which I couldn’t bear to play last year after all the RPG’s I already suffered through

  1. I’ve been considering “Into the Nexus” as well. I stopped playing R&C after “A Crack in Time”…hopefully this will bring back that ol’ R&C magic. Would love to hear your impressions of it once you get around to playing it!

    1. I didn’t buy the game originally because I heard it was short, but then I wanted to catch up on the series, so I got it. The series really has never been the same after A Crack in Time, though. But, I hope Nexus will be good. The old games were really something special.
