Listmas 2016: Games to Potentially Pad my PS4 Library

Now that the PS4 has finally joined my gaming family, I have begun the all-important task of acquiring a collection of games to accompany it.  What good is a shiny new console without games, after all?  Thus far, the PS4 section of my gaming shelf consists only of the Ratchet & Clank remake and Uncharted 4, which is a sad sight indeed.  Fortunately, with Christmas coming up, I might just be able to do something about it.  And so, without further ado, a delightful list containing the potential games I might add to my PS4’s library (even if some of them are nowhere near being released). Saturday Video Round Up: Nov 13 – 19

Well folks, this week marks a very special edition of the Video Round Up. Like I do every year, the Round Up is going on a little vacation, set to return early in 2017. We’re finally past all of the major releases this year and with the holidays coming up quickly, the video activity will be slowing to a crawl. I may make a special one next month for the Game Awards and PlayStation event so stay tuned. For now, I’ll have more on this next week along with what’s going to be replacing it in December.

Before we get too far ahead of ourselves though, it’s time to enjoy another edition of the Saturday Video Round Up. As I mentioned, even with new releases are slowing to a crawl, there’s still some interesting stuff to share. Here’s a small taste of what waits for you below.

Rainbow Six Siege, a game that launched almost a year ago, is still going strong and so to is the post-launch support. The final expansion of season one, Operation Red Crow, introduces a new map and two new operators based on the special forces of Japan. It’ll be interesting to see where Ubisoft takes this game with a second season of content now coming in 2017.

It’s still a bit strange to say, but The Last Guardian is now only a couple of weeks away. I’ll give you a moment to let that sink in.

To help get fans even more excited, Sony has released a brand new CG cinematic trailer featuring some action sequences between Trico and the little boy.

I’ve also got new videos for Dishonored 2, Persona 5, Pokemon Sun/Moon and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

The full list of videos await you after the jump…

Saturday Video Round Up: October 23 – 29

With Saturday here once again, it’s time for the latest installment of the Video Round Up. For those of you who are new, this is my weekly feature where I grab all the latest videos and trailers from the previous week, lovingly placing them in one, easy to find list. So lets jump into this weeks batch of videos, shall we?

Titanfall 2 is the big name this week (along with Skyrim Remastered for those of you looking to double dip) and as such, another impressive trailer has dropped down for your viewing pleasure. The launch trailer gives another great look at the bond between pilot and titan, including some impressive acrobatics and effects.

In what seems to be a weekly occurrence, Dishonored 2 makes the list once again with a couple of new trailers. The first is a snazzy live action trailer, showing things from Emily’s point of view as she works to get revenge on the witch, Delilah Copperspoon. Need more information on Emily? There’s a trailer for you as well, with some of the developers at Arkane talking about the Empress.

I’ve also got new videos for The Division, Dead Rising 4, Watch_Dogs 2 and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

The full list of videos await you after the jump…

This year’s E3 will likely go down as one of the most successful of the last few years. Not only did we get a boatload of announcements and trailers that we were already expecting, but we also got some of the biggest out-of-left-field reveals to ever come out of the show! The new DOOM is alive and well, The Last Guardian was confirmed as still in development, and perhaps the most incredible of all: the Final Fantasy VII remake (a project many thought would never EVER happen) was confirmed to be a real game that’s actually being produced! It’s…just so incredible! Projects once thought either dead or nonstarters are becoming reality! If these games can make it into the light of day, perhaps there’s still hope for others as well! Here’s three games that we just might get to see after all if this trend continues! Continue reading Not Dead Yet! #gamersonwatch
