For my second Nostalgic Notions video, I made a valiant (yeah…”valiant,” haha) effort to save the Earth from a barrage of alien invaders in Beamrider. This scrolling shooter proved tricky for my old reflexes, but it was nonetheless interesting to take a look back at the beginnings of a genre that’s mostly gone out of fashion.
