According  to some of Kotaku’s sources, Eidos Montreal (the studio behind notable games such as Deus Ex: Human Revolution), has just cancelled a new game. It was likely that it was an entirely new game, though not necessarily a new IP, as it didn’t have anything to do with the Deus Ex or Thief franchises. Unfortunately there was no information to be had in regard to the nature of the game. It’s unfortunate that an accomplished studio such as Eidos Montreal would have to cancel a game, but at least we still have the new Thief coming out next year, and probably more Deus Ex to look forward to.
