Patrick’s Music Blog #4

Hey everyone, it’s been awhile and man has time passed quickly! All of my recent posts are about to be a month old! Well, I hope you all have enjoyed them and cracked a smile or two at them. I tried to make the introductions long to satisfy your interests, but not so long that you hate me for it :) It was a lot of random reading and I’m sure I would have lost some of you but thankfully, I have a great editor over seeing my post so thank you for that Hatm0nster. I’m trying my best to make my random blogs at least feel more professional but the truth is that I hate reading.

Most of my life was spent in front of the TV playing video games. I haven’t played enough to call myself a hardcore gamer, but it was still enough to say I was entertained. The longest I have ever played a game was from 3pm to 6am the next day! That game was Streets of Rage 2. I can’t explain it, but there was something about games in the 90’s that really sucked you into that world as if it was the only thing that mattered in that moment. The only other time this happened was when I played Zelda 64 (aka Ocarina of Time). I felt like a zoned-out zombie in a world that existed solely within the now-outdated CRT television most of us had our VCR’s hooked up to. I remember being very surprised at the time. You see, I didn’t think it was going to be a good game for me because fighting games were my main go-to back then.

This was my first time ever playing a Zelda game, and I quickly became a fan of the series after playing it. However, I may be one of the very few who have not beaten the game to this very day. There was a lot to collect and explore in that game, and I had too much fun to care if I would ever finish it. I would later sale the game because I allowed myself to be consumed by it. The struggle was that real people.

Video games were also the reason why I didn’t watch many movies, and if I did watch one, I was usually a snob about it. Without even knowing why, I just knew what sort of movie was right for me. I’ve tried to keep an open mind since seeing Goldeneye though, because it and other movies I’d told myself I would never watch (since so many people glorified them) turned out to be great experiences which I really enjoyed. Scarface is the best example of this. It was hyped up more than it needed to be, but I would encourage you to check it out if you haven’t seen it before because it’s well worth a look. Before I go, I want to leave you with some music.

This blog was to highlight Kitana from Mortal Kombat but I started to talk about myself and I was on a roll, or at least I think so. Not much to say personally about this fighter other than the woman that played her in Mortal Kombat 2 looked very cute in this picture I chose for the video. It is one of the most beautiful pictures I’ve ever seen in a game. I dare say it’s on the same level as a Mona Lisa. She’s that attractive in the photo. I wanted to make a theme that captured the same beauty and sadness she displayed as I saw it through my eyes and perception of her.

Enjoy the theme and thanks for reading and liking all my blogs. I have noticed and appreciate it very much. As always, I would like to thank Duck of Indeed, Cary, and Hatm0nster for being very supportive of me. As well as the many others here who show their support every Monday on my blogs.

Hi everyone, Mr.Super Ultimate back again to bring you some of my best originals, as well as cover song concepts based upon your favorite video games in this weekly blog I like to call “Ultimate’s Music Monday’s!”, which was born from my “Hello Gaming World blog.” So check it out if you haven’t! Secrets Of the Tube?

Hello everyone, Mr.Super Ultimate here. Today I will discuss my experience with YouTube, and all the secrets I have uncovered. Like all life lessons, these secrets came from not knowing how things really work. What I am about to tell you will save you the pain of wondering why your content is not getting as many views compare to others who create similar content. This blog will also cover the issue over why people are losing so many subscribes as of late, and why that may not be a bad thing at all. So, there will be no “To be Continued” here. My aim is to arm you with everything you need to know as a future, or current YouTube content provider in five paragraphs or more ;) But before I do, I would like to thank United We Game, and you the community as a whole for all your continued support in me, and each other. Hello gaming world!

My name is, Mr Super Ultimate and I am a video game music composer and I started uploading my music on YouTube 4 years ago. I was influenced by games like, Streets Of Rage 2, Mortal Kombat, as well as, the Sonic game’s enough to start writing music. I taught myself how to compose, mix, and even, master music. I still have a long way to go when it comes to music but I am happy with my style and my arrangements so far.

Some people feel I take my music in a very different direction than other composers, but to me I just do music, and if I enjoy it, I will share it with my fans. So, now, I share it with you all thanks to the amazing people who run United We Game! I am happy to be apart of this site, and great community; so I thank you for taking the time to read this post. Feel free to leave some feedback about my music, or anything you want to know about me.

Here is a link to one of my videos. It is original music I created for the SuperMetroid series we all know and appreciate! SuperMetroid 2 OST
