Nintendo came out of the gate hard with the Switch thanks large in part to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. While the game ditches many longstanding traditions, it seems the fanbase is in love with this newest entry. Curious to know how Nintendo decided to make all these gameplay updates? A new three part behind the scenes series arrived this week, so make sure to check them out for answers to many of your burning questions.

Next weeks see the return of the Mass Effect franchise as the next entry in the series is taking players to the Andromeda galaxy. Fans have already gotten a good look at the single player side, and now it’s time to get an overview of the cooperative multiplayer mode. If you’re familiar with Mass Effect 3 multiplayer, I think you’ll find plenty to love with Andromeda.

Hey, look! Saturday is here and that means the Round Up is here to (hopefully) entertain and delight you. For those new here, the Video Round Up collects the best trailers and gameplay videos from the past week and puts them all here for your viewing pleasure. There’s a lot to get to this week, so here’s just a small sampling of what is waiting for you after the jump.

It was a big week for BioWare as a number of Mass Effect Andromeda videos came out and for myself, increasing the hype meter considerably. The first video shows off more single player gameplay, along with how the upgrade and skill tree process works this time around. A second video introduces us the Lexi T’Perro, the chief medic and the first person players will meet. Lastly, a third video which dropped on Friday has security chief, Liam Costa, discussing weapon training.

Saturday Video Round Up: September 25 – October 1

It’s Saturday once again and alongside is a brand new edition of the Video Round Up. This is the weekly series that brings you the biggest and best trailers from the week that was. With the fall release season in full swing, there’s a lot of good stuff to get to, so lets dive right in! Here’s a small taste of what awaits you after the jump.

Arguably the biggest trailer this week came from EA and DICE who finally showed off the single player campaign in Battlefield 1. The trailer does a good job at not only humanizing the war through various characters, but depicting just how brutal and chaotic World War I actually was. It looks like players will be jumping between a few characters, seeing their stories unfold through the campaign.

Bethesda is really going full steam ahead on Dishonored 2 marketing. This week, they released two trailers, both featuring the same level, but played in entirely different ways. If you’re a fan of taking action and going in guns blazing, you’ll want to check out the high chaos clip. For you stealthy ghost players, the low chaos version might tickle your fancy.

I’ve also got new videos for Titanfall 2, Yooka-Laylee, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

Before we get to the insane amount of game trailers, make sure to check out the next Overwatch animated short feature Bastion. It’s been a while since we got one of these and I am incredibly happy a new one has emerged. I’m hoping a couple more are on the way as well. We all know there are plenty more characters that need covering.

It seems E3 has started early as an initial rush of trailers for popular or upcoming games has released prior to the show. I keep forgetting that companies compete with each otehr prior to the big show with a bunch of reveals, trailers, and all kinds of chaos. It’s pre-E3 madness! With E3 just a few days away, prepare yourselves for a flood of new content. For now, lets see what this past week held for us in a brand new edition of the Round Up. Here’s a small sample.

Thanks to an advertising snafu on IGN, fans got an early look at Watch_Dogs 2 along with it’s November release date. Ubisoft provided a ton of information this week as well, including three videos showcasing the ambitious and fresh take on the series. Gloomy protagonist? Out. Fun, hacker vibe? In.

While many expected it, Netherrealm Studios finally revealed that the super hero fighter, Injustice 2 is indeed their next project. They released a pretty sweet CG trailer while actual gameplay is expected sometime later today. While you wait, check out the reveal trailer below!

I’ve also got new videos for XCOM 2 Console Version, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

Players enjoying the episodic release schedule for HITMAN will be happy to note that the next chapter has arrived. In it, players will travel to the sunny skies and dense urban markets of Marrakesh. A new trailer welcoming you to the new episode is below.

As we inch closer and closer to E3 next month, expect the video pool to dry up as publishers save their biggest and brightest trailers for when all eyes are on the annual show. Still, there’s plenty of stuff to check out this week in the Round Up. Here’s just a small taste of what awaits you.

The big surprise this week came from Ubisoft as they released a brand new trailer for one of their higher profile games in advance of E3 2016. After going underground for a while after its reveal last year, Ghost Recon Wildlands is back on the radar with a new gameplay trailer.

After a long wait, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst is so close to release. To help or make the wait worse, a brand new launch trailer arrived this week, giving you a better look at the crisp and clean visuals on display.

I’ve also got new videos for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, HITMAN, Battleborn and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!
