Congrats everyone, you’ve made it to Saturday once more, which also means it is time for a brand new edition of the Saturday Video Round Up. There’s a lot of good stuff this week, if I do say so myself, as we’re starting to enter a busier time for releases. Here’s just a small sample of what’s on tap for this week in the Round Up.

Quantum Break has been causing quite a stir lately as Microsoft announced that the game will be cross-buy and cross-save compatible between the Xbox One and PC. Not only that, Remedy is throwing in copies of both Alan Wake games for people who pre-order and buy the upcoming game. Outside of this news, a brand new live action trailer has also been released showing lead character Jack Joyce being hunted by the evil Monarch Solutions.

The Division is another game that’s proving to be quite buzzworthy having just wrapped up a successful closed beta and then announcing a new open beta which kicks off this coming week. To celebrate the news, a brand new trailer is here showing off the four main factions players will be doing battle with as they try to wrestle control of New York away from them.

Saturday Video Round Up: January 17 – 23

Hope you all enjoyed the mega sized Round Up last week and for those of you who missed it (WHAT?!?!), you can check it out right here.

We’re back to the normal edition of the Round Up this week, bringing you the best gameplay videos and official trailers from the past week. There’s a lot of stuff to get to, so here’s just a small taste of what’s waiting for you below the jump. Enjoy!

Ubisoft’s next Far Cry game is a few weeks away and to help get people excited, they released a pair of videos. The first helps introduce some of the major characters players will interact with during their time with Far Cry Primal and if this game stays true to the past couple of entries, there should be plenty of weird and crazy moments. The second is a developer diary that goes into how the language used in the game came to be and further inspired the characters within the title. It’s fairly interesting stuff.

To the surprise of probably no one, Warner Bros and Netherrealm Studios revealed Mortal Kombat XL, essentially the Game of the Year edition of Mortal Kombat, which collects every piece of DLC released and upcoming and putting it all into one package. Surprisingly, this version of the game including Kombat Pack 2 won’t be arriving on PC, as it seems support for that platform has been discontinued. Sorry to all those affected.

Saturday Video Round Up: November 29 – December 5

Welcome to the last Video Round Up of 2015! It was an easy decision this week considering that The Game Awards ceremony was this week providing me a wealth of new material. As developers and publishers alike start to wind down for the holidays, the video content will start tapering off as well, making it absurdly difficult to put together a compelling Round Up for you folks. With that said, there is a lot to get to this week, so here’s a small taste!

As I alluded to above, this weeks big event came from Geoff Keighley as the second annual Game Awards took place, offering video game fans a good amount of new video content. Reveals like Far Cry Primal gameplay, new DLC for Rise of the Tomb Raider, Psychonauts 2, and a ton of other great games.

I’ve also got new videos for Just Cause 3, Star Wars Battlefront, Halo 5: Guardians and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers! It’s a stuffed Round Up this week folks, so enjoy! We’ll see you in 2016 everyone!
