U.M.M. Music Blog #1

Hi everyone, Mr.Super Ultimate back again to bring you some of my best originals, as well as cover song concepts based upon your favorite video games in this weekly blog I like to call “Ultimate’s Music Monday’s!”, which was born from my “Hello Gaming World blog.” So check it out if you haven’t! I hope you all had a rad week, and that you found my last blog “Secrets of the Tube” (my 4 year journey on YouTube, and most of its secrets revealed to me through trial and errors) helpful. Or, at least, entertaining from the comedy aspect I tried to deliver. Whatever the case, I’m glad you enjoyed it.

As always, I would like to thank Hatm0nster, The Duck of Indeed, and Cary for putting together this great web community, and for allowing me to have a place in it.

With that said, let’s jump right into it shall we :)

Today, I will be sharing another video from the vaults with you. If you’re a Street Fighter Alpha 3 fan, then you’ll love this. Here is my remake of Ryu’s theme entitled “The Road.” It is the third of three remakes I did, and it is the only one on YouTube I feel comes close to sounding like the true original. (With a few new parts added here and there for any of you who are not a stranger to the original song in question).

Weather you heard the theme or not, you have my word you’ll be rocking out to it either way <3

I am very happy with the way it came out. But to tell you the truth, after listening to the original again, I realized that the theme had a lot more going on in it then I had expected. But it took up 3 hours of my life so in the immortal words of Homer Simpson, “that’s the end of that chapter.” There’s no way I’m gonna “go for broke” (a Street Fighter Alpha 3 reference for those not in the loop), and do a forth cover of it. Three remakes of the same song is enough and I’m glad I got it near perfect the third time around.

Going off topic, I was thinking I should do a random blog about something every other Monday, and a short blog about my music on the main Monday’s before that because I was really only supposed to do a short blog about my music, but I feel like now that you guys know me a little better, our relationship is great, and you have the keys to my downtown pad, you can pretty much swing over to my place, and force me to watch romantic movies like Girl Interrupted with you anytime you want right? Okay, maybe that movie was more on the lines of crazy woman with sad situations but you get my general point. I know you do because you…get…me… ;)

(For those of you who didn’t understand my general point, I’ll clarify my original analogy that was just created on the spot). All I was trying to say was, now that you guys know me, you can just watch my videos anytime you want without me doing short commentary to accompany the video in a blog. I know I’m not the only blogger here, and that someone way better at it than me will be here every week for your entertainment; but I can’t help but feel like I owe you all more then what I am offering you. It’s difficult to explain but I hope you understand.

Wait a minute, what am I saying? You guy’s love me way too much to let me leave don’t you? I thought so ;) Lol.

Well, after all that silliness, here is the MP3. I thought this time around I would just let you listen then download what you hear on demand! So, no videos this time!

“Enjoy the MP3, and have a great rest of your week!” ~Mr.Super Ultimate

    1. Yeah it do. But to tell the truth, I wasn’t a fan of it the very first time I played back in 1999 because the musical style, and Instruments used threw me way off. I only remembered the music from original Street Fighter 2 on the SNES, as well as Championship Edition for the Sega Genesis, so that 16 bit sound is what I wanted to hear. That all changed after hearing Cammy’s SFA3 theme; and I became a fan of all its music by the end of the day. Thank you for stopping by Cary. I hope you enjoy that free download :)
