YouTube Highlights: June 2016

Another month nearly done; another look back on our month in videos! If you like watching people play games (and be people, I mean myself, The Duck of Indeed, and Hatm0nster!), please do subscribe to our YouTube channel. Every little bit of support goes a long way in keeping us motivated to make great videos just for you.:)

Now…on with the show!

The month started out with The Duck of Indeed’s new playthrough of Super Mario Galaxy. This unique and now-classic entry into the Mario series is amazingly fun to watch and remains one of Nintendo’s best games in recent memory. Seriously, who could forget Bee Mario!

June also saw the return of my own series, “Not Zangief,” which is all about fighting games and me playing them badly. Sometimes, good-ly, but mostly…not. Hey, at least I’m trying! I think. Some days it’s hard to tell. (The Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe video marks a very sad chapter in my gaming history. I’ll be writing more on that soon.)

Continuing our other series, “Nostalgic Notions,” in which we play retro games, The Duck moved onward with games from Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection for the Xbox 360.  Among them were true head-turners of their time, like Sonic the Hedgehog and Streets of Rage!

The Duck was also supremely busy regaling us with more from her Donkey Kong County 2 and Super Paper Mario Let’s Plays. Amazing progress on both counts!

And finally, if that wasn’t enough, she also added Kirby to the mix! Yes, now you can check in weekly as The Duck plays through Kirby’s Return to Dreamland as everyone’s favorite and surprisingly hungry little ball of pink fluff!

Well, how that’s for an astounding month in gaming videos? And we’re not done yet! Thanks to everyone who’s subscribed to our channel, left a comment, or given us a thumbs up! Even if you’re not subscribed, you can still stop by and say hello anytime. Everyone is always welcome!
