YouTube Highlights: April 2016

Greetings, fellow gamers and content creators! We’re happy to introduce here a new monthly feature on the site called “YouTube Highlights,” which is, well…all about highlights from our YouTube channel! For many months now, myself, The Duck of Indeed, and Hatm0nster have been hard at work making all sorts of gaming videos. As such, it’s easy for videos to get lost in the shuffle that is YouTube. To help folks navigate their way through our channel’s waters, I’m going to be featuring a handful of our videos in a post like this very one you’re reading at the end of each month. That way, if you don’t have time to cull through ALL our videos (we know, it’s a lot, and there’s plenty more to come!), you’ll at least get to sample some of our wondrously delicious gaming fare.

So, without further ado, let’s get to our April highlights!

First up, let’s talk about The Division! The hype surrounding this game’s release last month was overwhelming , and it continues to be a juggernaut. Part of the game’s appeal is it story, upon which Hatm0nster capitalized in the video “Division Lore: The National Guard,” the first of a series.

Next, April saw the continuation of a couple of our Let’s Play series by the Duck of Indeed of Super Paper Mario and Donkey Kong Country 2. Both of these fantastic games remain fun and challenging, no matter if you only ever played them once or a hundred times!

Here you can catch the Duck, er…the Kongs swinging through Barrel Bayou:

And in Super Paper Mario, what’s up with Princess Peach in this creepy, oddball land?

If classic gaming is your thing, then our Nostalgic Notions series is for you! This month I returned with games from the Activision Anthology, and The Duck ventured onward with games from Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection.

As far as Atari games went, could they have been any stranger than Kabobber?

Yes, they could have, and they did, especially with Decap Attack, which The Duck played. It features a mummy with the ability to shoot…his face. Yep, that’s strange, all right.

Finally, this past month The Duck returned to the terrifying realm of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza with Five Night’s at Freddy’s 2! It’s a must watch! If you dare watch, that is.
