Saturday Video Round Up: March 12 – 18

We’re deep into March now and it shows as there’s quite a few videos to get to. Welcome to another weekly edition of the Saturday Video Round Up, where the best trailers and gameplay. Here’s just a small taste of what’s waiting for you below the jump.

Nintendo came out of the gate hard with the Switch thanks large in part to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. While the game ditches many longstanding traditions, it seems the fanbase is in love with this newest entry. Curious to know how Nintendo decided to make all these gameplay updates? A new three part behind the scenes series arrived this week, so make sure to check them out for answers to many of your burning questions.

Next weeks see the return of the Mass Effect franchise as the next entry in the series is taking players to the Andromeda galaxy. Fans have already gotten a good look at the single player side, and now it’s time to get an overview of the cooperative multiplayer mode. If you’re familiar with Mass Effect 3 multiplayer, I think you’ll find plenty to love with Andromeda.

I’ve also got new videos for Prey, Injustice 2, Quake Champions and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

Saturday Video Round Up: January 29 – February 4

Welcome back to another brand new edition of the Saturday Video Round Up! For those of you new here, this is the weekly series bringing you the best trailers and gameplay videos from around the gaming industry. Here’s a small taste of what’s waiting for you below the jump.

Ubisoft has been on a roll lately with betas. Last weekend saw another For Honor closed test and this week has Ghost Recon Wildlands in the spotlight for another non-NDA closed beta test. For those of you wanting to see more from the game, Ubisoft released a new 4 player co-op gameplay trailer, showing off what sort of chaos players can find in this massive world.

Since we’re now in February, Sony is preparing to launch their first major exclusive title,  Horizon: Zero Dawn, at the end of the month. While a lot has already been said, a new behind the scenes video is out in the wild, giving fans another taste of the new world Guerrilla Games has created.

I’ve also got new videos for Titanfall 2, For Honor, Resident Evil VII biohazard and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

Saturday Video Round Up: January 22 – 28

Saturday has once again reared its head and that means a brand new edition of the Round Up is here as well. Studios appear to be back into the swing of things after a holiday break and there are a lot of trailers and videos to get to. Here’s a small taste of what’s waiting below the break.

For me, one of the most exciting reveals this past week came from BioWare as they unleashed the second cinematic trailer for Mass Effect Andromeda. In it, we get a good look at what appears to be the primary antagonist for the Pathfinder crew. Not to be out done, a second trailer was also released focusing on the ark ship Hyperion. What’s great here is that the trailer reveals more of the trusty crew the Ryder twins will come across through their adventure.

The marketing blitz for Ghost Recon Wildlands has clearly begun as Ubisoft pushed out three brand new trailers for the game. The first focuses on the level of customization and freedom players have in the world, while the second actually shows off just how open the game really is. If you’re fired up and can’t wait for the game, the third trailer shows off a bonus mission for putting down some cash on the game early.

I’ve also got new videos for Rainbow Six Siege, Overwatch, Resident Evil VII biohazard and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

Saturday Video Round Up: October 16 – 22

Welcome to the weekend everyone! Saturday has returned once again and so to has a brand new entry in the Video Round Up series.  As usual, we’ve got a lot of new videos to get to so here’s a small taste of what’s waiting for you below the jump.

I don’t think anyone will be surprised when I say that arguably the biggest news this week came from Rockstar who finally announced the game everyone was expecting to see at E3…but didn’t. That’s right, Red Dead Redemption 2 is finally and officially real. The bad part? It’s not arriving until Fall 2017. To help or hurt the wait is the first official trailer. Enjoy!

Outside of Red Dead, not much could topple news that big, right? Well, Nintendo threw a monkey wrench into those plans by finally revealing the Nintendo NX, now known as Nintendo Switch. While there’s still a number of linger questions, at the very least, the debut trailer showed off the system and what it so special about it.

I’ve also got new videos for Prey, Titanfall 2, Dishonored 2 and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

Saturday Video Round Up: October 9 – 15

Welcome to the weekend everyone! Saturday has returned once again and so to has a brand new entry in the Video Round Up series.  As usual, we’ve got a lot of new videos to get to so here’s a small taste of what’s waiting for you below the jump.

I hope you like Halloween because I’ve got a handful of trailers introducing new seasonally timed events to their games. First up is Epic Games new MOBA Paragon, which introduces Shadow’s Eve to players. Not one to shy away from holiday shenanigans, Blizzard has added the new Halloween Terror and Dr. Junkenstein’s Revenge event for Overwatch players.

With November breathing down our necks, the Activision marketing train is starting to ramp up to full speed for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. This week, players can get a better look at the Combat Rigs system in multiplayer, essentially, premade characters each specializing in a particular playstyle. Think of it as the Black Ops 3 specialist system.

I’ve also got new videos for HITMAN, Titanfall 2, Pokemon Sun/Moon and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

Saturday Video Round Up: September 11 – 17

The weekend is back and that means it’s time for some new videos! Lets see what’s on tap for this week’s edition of the Saturday Video Round Up.

Dishonored 2 dropped a new trailer on everyone, which focuses most of it’s time on the story. Unlike most promotional items, Corvo was heavily featured, showing off his impressive moves while also detailing story elements such as Delilah Copperspoon usurping the throne from Emily Kaldwin. Why we still don’t know why, the plot is certainly beginning to thicken.

Destiny fans got a special treat this week as Bungie released the launch trailer for the final expansion pack, Rise of Iron, this week. Fans got a good look at some of the cutscenes, new Devil Splicer enemies, and a whole lot of loot. Not too much longer to wait now, Guardians!

I’ve also got new videos for For Honor, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Mafia III and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

Saturday Video Round Up: August 28 – September 3

Welcome to the weekend everyone! We’re into September now and that means the fall rush of games is about to kick off. As such, it’s another busy week for videos and trailers, so let’s get going on the round up, shall we?

I can’t decide if Titanfall 2 or Gears of War 4 had bigger news, so I’ll mention them both quickly. Fresh off of their second and final technical test, Respawn dropped in a brand new trailer showcasing all six Titan classes players will be able to select once the full game launches at the end of October.

The big news from Microsoft was for Gears of War 4, finally revealing the popular Horde mode. While the fundamentals are the same with 50 waves of increasingly difficult enemies, The Coalition have added a few new twists including classes and character loadouts.

Nintendo held a new Direct conference this past week and while WiiU owners were left out in the cold, 3DS owners got a ton of new reveals including a new DLC pack for Hyrule Warriors Legends, and other games like Mario Party: Star Rush and Picross 3D: Round 2.

I’ve also got new videos for Watch_Dogs 2, Fora Horizon 3, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!
