I’m just hoping the game will get better. We’ve seen a lot of these kinds of releases before Destiny, and none of them have ever gotten better. I’d just like to see Destiny start a trend of continuous improvement for these kinds of releases instead of staying crummy like those that came before it.

It seems to have become a trend for AAA publishers to release games that are less than fully baked at launch. I’ve just noticed that more often than not, they don’t ever seem to finish them with the post-release content. It’s why I’m hoping to see Destiny improve the way they say it will. If it does, then it’ll be a new standard to follow for anyone who wants to pull that garbage with their game.

I also think Destiny is the product of a fifty million dollar hype machine which pretty much guaranteed no one would be very satisfied with the end product.

At least, that’s the way it used to be, and I would just have to see how this new process works before I begin to agree with it or not. But, at the same time, if game developers can improve on their games based on feedback from those who have already begun to play it, games could have the potential to become more amazing than ever. I’ll just wait and see how it works for Destiny.
