Not sure how this post got past my radar, but glad it couldn’t elude me forever! It’s really quite fascinating seeing how we all each of us got from there to here, from non-gamer to gamer. It’s weird to think about, how often so many of us wind up focusing our thoughts of the industry on everything except how much fun the games are. You are right after all, we’re here to play the games and enjoy the company of our fellow gamers, and that’s all that really matters!

If you've been following my blog for any length of time, I'd think my schtick should be obvious by now -- game memories, nostalgia, reflections on the past. Fantastic, I am going to take the baton on this one and write my own post outlining how i got to ‘here’ in gaming terms of course, my life is not interesting in the slightest lol!

It’s good to read about how people grow into the gamers they are today, how tastes and priorities change and how gaming can be a constant in peoples lives

Thanks! I guess there’s always one controversy or another being flung about in gaming. It just seemed to be a good time to speak up as a gamer. Though we, as gamers, mostly have the same goal (to play games), it’s always interesting to read how we got to where we are. This was certainty fun to write, if nothing else. ☺
