In case you missed it yesterday over on United We Game, a bunch of us over there got together, sat down around a virtual keyboard and hashed out our thoughts on the annual Electronics Entertainment Expo, also known as E3. Is it still necessary even in an age where we can get information so quickly on the internet? What are our thoughts on the show?

It’s a fascinating look into each of our mindsets and how different the viewpoints are.

E3 2014 may be over, but that doesn’t mean we can’t and shouldn’t stop reveling in what’s to come in gaming. Now up on United We Game is a Round Table discussion the crew had over a single question: Do we need E3? Sounds simple but the answer (if there is one) is anything but as you can see from our discussion below. But what to you think? Is E3 (and other gaming trade shows) still a necessity for gamers and the game industry?
