I’ve read you can take motion sickness pills to prevent it, but have never tried. Believe me, you’re forced to stop when you suddenly feel the urge to puke. lol

I’m lucky I’ve never gotten motion sickness in games. It wouldn’t stop me from playing, though, heh heh. Too much fun.

I didn’t used to get along with this game all too well, since it was so darn difficult, and I usually hold grudges against hard games…. But, just a few years ago, I managed to beat it 100%, which was one of the most thrilling things I’ve done.

It is amazing how long this game has stayed popular. And it’s also amazing how long it stays challenging. It wasn’t until a couple years ago that I beat this game for the first time, plus somehow managed to get 100%. And that was one of the most satisfying things I’ve ever done.

A good game. The first game to give me motion sickness though, which persists everytime i play it even today. 20 minutes is all I can take. But fun!

I have such fond memories of this game, from that first playthrough to, even now, collecting stars here and there in the Virtual Console copy that I bought. And I had forgotten all about the soundtrack! Super Mario World is still my all-time favorite Mario soundtrack, but this one is wonderful too. Fantastic article; fantastic game!

The magnitude of this game’s staying power is incredible! It takes much more than nostalgia glasses to keep a game fun for so long. You hit the nail on the head with this! So many years later and it’s still so easy to just pick up and play!
