I had several instances in this “Spyro” game where Spyro just got stuck. Like I jump on a rock just right, and he would kind of float on it, so he couldn’t get any footing in order to jump off the rock. So I just pressed buttons and swirled the control stick around until he finally fell off the stupid rock. And then one time, he went partway under something and kept running in place, and I couldn’t get him to jump and escape. Again, I mashed buttons until he finally got free. It was so frustrating!

I had that happen to me quite recently when I was playing Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning on the Xbox. I was fighting some small fry monsters and my character got stuck in one spot and couldn’t move! Even after I managed to kill everything in sight, I couldn’t move to the next area. Luckily, I was able to save, restart the game, and voila! Character was free from her invisible prison. I’m hoping I don’t encounter the kind of glitches you had to deal with. I’d be pissed too if I dealt with the ones you listed!

That thing was horrible. It froze constantly, so I had to repeat stuff all the time because it would freeze before I reached save points. After a few weeks (I don’t know why I kept it that long), I gave it back to the store and just bought a new Xbox. I replayed the game and got through much quicker that time.

Fortunately, all my other consoles mainly really only get the smaller glitches I’ve mentioned in previous posts. I do get a lot of glitches, though. Rather strange.

My main glitches encountered in the last generation of consoles (as I don’t have any of the current ones yet) were sound glitches on the PS3, involving “Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction” and “PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale”. Fortunately, that has happened to many people, so it was a relief finding out that there was nothing wrong with my PS3, after all.

I’ll never be able to beat Bonetail. He was so tough. And I’m terrified of the Pit of 100 Trials in that game now, even if my new GameCube doesn’t freeze like the old one did.

As I’ve stated before, I don’t encounter glitches in my games. I guess I’ve led a charmed existence in that sense. Sure there have been freezes here and there, but nothing debilitating (the exception was first that my first 360 couldn’t handle Skyrim). I’ve played countless hours in each of the games you’ve mentioned (except for Harvest Moon) here and have not encountered a single glitch.

Still, major respect for getting to Bonetail. I’ve never even attempted that yet. Have the glitches followed you into the current generation?

I went to the forum to check if it was just me… well, I wasn’t alone. Some were able to return the game ( but only at Best Buy )
