Love those openings too! All the secret teasers were great too, the BBS teaser and “Deep Dive” especially. We’re finally going to be getting KH3 sometime in the next couple of years too! So excited!

You have my respect as gamer for completing that game! I never got past the original either, though I did try the direct sequel: Riven and the very last game in the series Uru: Ages Beyond Myst. I never got anywhere in either of them. Riven because I couldn’t figure out what to do in the beginning, and Uru because it was a dead game by the time I got a computer that could properly run it. Uru was supposed to be an online game, but the community and server support was very short lived.

I find the openings of “Kingdom Hearts” games to be pretty awesome every time I see them, though I try not to play too often, so the greatness doesn’t get boring. In a similar fashion, I found the secret ending of “KH2″ to be amazing at first, especially because you didn’t know what was happening in it, so it was mysterious. Once “BBS” came out and explained everything, that scene is still amazing, but all the mystery is gone, which is rather disappointing.

I think I was 10 or 11 when I discovered MYST and beat it. I actually became a little obsessed. I never go into the other ones that followed it but this one was pretty great.
