As opposed to the “come on, rematch” chant, which is often based in wounded pride or a desire for vengeance.

Victories are sweeter because you’ve overcome something that would have been impossible to do by yourself, and defeats aren’t as hard-hitting because the only thing you’ve lost to is the challenge itself.
