Anyway you’re right. The rumble pack was such a novelty back in the day, but I never saw as something that would fade. As history has proven the addition it made to the experience proved much too valuable. We’ve gotten past taking it for granted, now we barely remember what it was like without. (Unless you play a lot of older stuff, which make the contrast even more stark and incredible.)
]]>Now every controller has it, and we take it for granted. It’s weird going back to old games that don’t have it. And games that have it turned off, I now must go in and turn it on. The rumble just must be there now. It’s not the same experience without it.
